METAL 3D printing and the future of 3D printing

I've been seeing a lot of development lately in the 3D printing industry.

Especially in regards to printing with  metal...
I already can see a lot of great things happening in the next few years in this industry.

If you know  or have followed star trek, 3D printers are the closest we can get currently when it comes to Replicators

3D printing in metal INMHO only of course, has limited uses in the areas that small game companies or hobbyist will print in. The technology is still really expensive, and the printing mediums are really expensive. I instead think ABS is the way to go for most things in the areas I print in such as...

• Minis and figures
• Weapon props and other props
• Studio scale and other scale models
